Role Overview
We're seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead cross-functional engineering initiatives and drive successful project delivery at CODVO.AI. In this role, you'll oversee complex technical projects from conception through completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives while maintaining team productivity and stakeholder satisfaction. Your expertise in Scrum methodologies and process management will be instrumental in scaling our engineering operations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Lead sprint planning and execution using Scrum frameworks, defining sprint goals, managing backlogs, and facilitating daily standups to maintain team momentum and transparency
- Manage project timelines and deliverables by creating realistic schedules, identifying dependencies, mitigating risks, and communicating progress to stakeholders across all organizational levels
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and QA specialists to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment on project objectives
- Implement and optimize Agile processes by establishing best practices, conducting retrospectives, and driving continuous process improvements that enhance team efficiency
- Monitor project metrics and KPIs including velocity, burndown rates, and resource utilization to identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven solutions
- Manage stakeholder communication through regular status reports, demos, and presentations that keep leadership informed and engaged throughout project lifecycles
- Remove blockers and obstacles that impede team progress, escalating issues appropriately and facilitating resolution across departments
- Support team development by identifying skill gaps, recommending training opportunities, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of IT project management experience, with demonstrated success leading technical teams
- Advanced proficiency in Scrum and Agile methodologies, including hands-on experience with sprint planning, backlog management, and retrospectives
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technical project delivery
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong self-management and time management skills
Nice to Have
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience with Kanban or hybrid Agile frameworks
- Familiarity with AI/ML project environments or emerging technology initiatives
- Background in DevOps or infrastructure project management
- Experience with Confluence, Slack, or other collaboration platforms
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA processes
