Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Data Science professional to join our Engineering team at CODVO.AI. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy machine learning solutions that drive business impact for our clients. You'll work on complex data challenges, translating business requirements into scalable analytical models while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, innovation-focused environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop and deploy machine learning models using Python, R, or similar languages to solve real-world business problems across diverse domains
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and insights that inform model development and business strategy
- Design and implement data pipelines for data collection, cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering at scale
- Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and validation techniques; optimize algorithms for accuracy, efficiency, and interpretability
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, translate them into analytical requirements, and communicate findings through clear visualizations and reports
- Document methodologies and code to ensure reproducibility, maintainability, and knowledge sharing across the team
- Stay current with industry trends in machine learning, AI, and data science; recommend and implement emerging tools and techniques
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement of data science practices and standards
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or related analytical roles
- Strong proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and model development
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, and their practical applications
- Experience with data manipulation libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and databases (SQL proficiency required)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities; capable of explaining complex concepts to non-technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Nice to Have
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their ML services
- Knowledge of big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, or similar)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
- Contributions to open-source projects or published research in data science
- Certifications in machine learning or data science
- Experience in specific domains (NLP, computer vision, time series forecasting, etc.)
