Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead to drive our cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and CI/CD transformation initiatives. In this role, you will design scalable systems, enable efficient deployments, and lead DevOps best practices across our engineering organization. You'll mentor a talented team of DevOps engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build reliable, automated, and secure platforms that power our clients' digital transformations.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing architectural guidance, technical direction, and fostering a culture of ownership, automation, and continuous improvement
- Design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure (primary) and AWS/GCP (secondary), including cloud migration initiatives and multi-cloud strategies
- Architect and optimize Kubernetes-based platforms (AKS or hybrid setups) with focus on high availability, security, and cost efficiency
- Build robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins; standardize deployment practices through Helm charts and GitOps approaches
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and other IaC frameworks to automate infrastructure provisioning and ensure consistency across environments
- Establish monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK; define SLIs/SLOs and drive system reliability improvements
- Implement DevSecOps practices across pipelines and infrastructure, managing secrets, access controls, and compliance requirements
- Drive DevOps maturity by standardizing tools, frameworks, and reusable modules while staying updated with emerging technologies
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 6+ years of professional DevOps experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or senior technical role
- Azure Cloud certification (Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) — mandatory
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm charts
- Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins)
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Hands-on experience setting up and managing RabbitMQ (HA, clustering, failover)
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL administration and Keycloak for identity management
- Strong scripting skills in Bash and/or Python
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Solid understanding of networking, system design, and DevOps principles
- Demonstrated ability to drive platform engineering and automation initiatives
Nice to Have
- Multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environment experience
- Cloud migration experience (Azure ↔ On-Premises)
- Exposure to GitOps tools (ArgoCD or FluxCD)
- AWS or GCP certifications
- Knowledge of security best practices, compliance frameworks, and DevSecOps
- Experience in Oil & Gas or regulated industry environments
