Role Overview
We are seeking a Product Owner to join our Data & BI team at CODVO.AI. In this hybrid role, you will drive the vision and strategy for our internal data and business intelligence products, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. You'll play a critical role in translating business requirements into actionable product roadmaps while ensuring alignment with cloud-native practices and organizational goals.
What You'll Do
- Define and Prioritize Product Roadmap — Develop and maintain a clear product vision, roadmap, and backlog that aligns with business objectives and stakeholder needs
- Gather and Analyze Requirements — Collaborate with stakeholders, data teams, and business users to understand requirements, pain points, and opportunities for product improvement
- Lead Agile Ceremonies — Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives to ensure team alignment and continuous improvement
- Design User Stories and Acceptance Criteria — Create well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria that enable development teams to build high-quality solutions
- Monitor Product Metrics and KPIs — Track product performance, user adoption, and business impact; use data-driven insights to inform product decisions
- Manage Stakeholder Communication — Serve as the primary point of contact between product teams and stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and outcomes
- Ensure Cloud Best Practices — Advocate for and implement cloud architecture principles, scalability, and cost optimization in product decisions
- Support Product Launch and Adoption — Coordinate go-to-market activities, user training, and documentation to ensure successful product releases
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Associate Product Owner, or similar product management role
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud practices and cloud-native product development
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business narratives
- Experience working with data, analytics, or BI products is highly valued
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar product management platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Background in machine learning or AI product development
- Certification in Product Management (PSPO, Pragmatic Marketing, or similar)
- Experience in SaaS or B2B product environments
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks
