SENIOR COPILOT ENGINEER, MICROSOFT COPILOT STUDIO Offshore (India). 15 months, full time.
THE ROLE IN ONE LINE Build 22 orchestrated Copilot Studio agents and every connector that feeds them.
WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY DO
- Build the Copilot Studio half of the catalog: topics, actions, agent flows, and the orchestration behind agents that schedule, monitor, escalate and write back to systems of record.
- Own connector build and extension to client source systems. None of them are named yet, so the first month is an inventory and an assessment, and your estimate becomes the program's estimate.
- Implement the write-back with approval pattern: a mandatory human approval step, recorded in the audit trail, for every agent that changes a system of record.
- Stand up the ALM pipeline across development, test and production, with the evaluation threshold and security review wired in as gates rather than reminders.
- Build the grounding and citation service over SharePoint and Microsoft Graph, honoring Purview labels and permission trimming.
- Implement the scheduled collect and publish pattern that five of the recurring reporting agents share.
REQUIRED
- Five years or more building on Microsoft Power Platform, with production systems you can describe in detail.
- Power Automate at depth: scheduled flows, approvals, error handling, and what happens when a flow fails at three in the morning.
- Custom connectors and REST API integration. Certified connectors where they exist, custom where they do not.
- Dataverse, Power Fx, and solution-based ALM with Power Platform Pipelines.
- Copilot Studio in production, or demonstrable Power Platform depth plus evidence you pick up new Microsoft surfaces quickly. We will convert the right person.
CERTIFICATIONS PL-400 required or equivalent demonstrable experience. AB-620 is the target credential for this role and we will fund it if you do not already hold it. The Applied Skills credential "Create agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio" is a useful early signal.
NICE TO HAVE
- Model Context Protocol tools, Azure AI Search, or Microsoft Foundry integration.
- Application Insights for agent monitoring.
- Experience integrating a contracts repository, a document control system, or an HRIS.
HOW WE WILL ASSESS YOU We will give you a real use case from the catalog, one that collects data weekly from email and publishes a fixed-format report, and ask you to talk through the build, where it breaks, and what you would monitor.
