About the Role We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer with strong full-stack capabilities to join our engineering team. You will work across multiple client-facing projects that sit at the intersection of AI, data, and web — starting with a live production AI agent platform. You are comfortable owning features end-to-end: from LLM pipeline design through to a polished frontend experience.

What You'll Do Design and build AI agent pipelines — multi-node LangGraph graphs, intent routing, multi-turn conversational context, session state management Build and maintain RAG systems — vector search, embedding pipelines, retrieval grounding, hallucination mitigation Integrate and tune LLMs — prompt engineering, structured output, few-shot examples, provider-neutral client design (Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic) Ship full-stack features end-to-end — FastAPI backends, React/Next.js frontends, SSE streaming, REST API contracts Own LLM observability — token usage logging, cost tracking, fallback detection, regression test suites Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders to translate business requirements into working software Keep documentation, specs, and tests in sync with every change Must-Have Skills AI Agent Engineering — LangGraph or equivalent graph-based agent framework; multi-step reasoning pipelines, tool use, state management RAG & Vector Search — end-to-end RAG pipeline design, vector DBs (Pinecone / Qdrant / pgvector / Weaviate), chunking strategies, retrieval evaluation LLM Integration — Gemini / OpenAI / Anthropic SDKs, structured JSON output, prompt design, context window management Python Backend — FastAPI, async Python, Pydantic, SQLite/Postgres, Redis, pytest Full-Stack — React, Next.js, TypeScript; able to build and ship UI features without a dedicated frontend engineer ML Engineering fundamentals — evaluation pipelines, golden test suites, regression tracking Good to Have GIS & Mapping — ArcGIS REST APIs, GeoJSON, MapLibre GL JS, spatial queries (strong advantage for initial projects) Data visualization — Recharts, D3, or equivalent charting libraries Cloud & DevOps — Docker, Azure / AWS, CI/CD pipelines, OIDC auth Product thinking — ability to read a Figma, propose trade-offs, and ship features that match business intent Tech You'll Encounter Layer Stack Agent framework LangGraph · LangChain LLM providers Gemini · OpenAI · Anthropic Backend Python 3.12 · FastAPI · SQLite · Redis Frontend Next.js 15 · React 19 · TypeScript · Zustand Data / Viz Recharts · GeoJSON · MapLibre GL JS Infra Docker · Azure Pipelines · Azure AD What We're Looking For Someone who can own a feature from requirements to production — no hand-holding between backend and frontend Strong engineering instincts: pushes back when a shortcut introduces hallucination risk or technical debt Comfortable in ambiguity — projects involve evolving client requirements and real production constraints Clear communicator: can explain AI system behaviour to non-technical stakeholders Nice to Have (Domain) Experience in energy, oil & gas, infrastructure, or enterprise GIS is a meaningful head start but not required.
