Role Overview
We're seeking a FullStack Lead to join CODVO.AI's Engineering team and drive the architecture and development of scalable data-driven applications. In this role, you'll lead technical initiatives across our full stack, with a strong emphasis on data engineering and backend systems. You'll mentor engineers, make critical architectural decisions, and directly contribute to building products that power intelligent solutions for our clients.
What You'll Do
- Lead technical architecture and design for full-stack applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability across frontend, backend, and data layers
- Design and optimize data pipelines using modern data engineering practices, including ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and real-time data processing
- Build and maintain robust backend systems using contemporary frameworks and technologies, ensuring high availability and security
- Mentor and guide engineering team members through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing sessions
- Collaborate with product and stakeholder teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and implementation roadmaps
- Implement best practices for testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and deployment across the full stack
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools that enhance our development capabilities and system performance
- Own end-to-end delivery of features and systems, from conception through production deployment and optimization
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated expertise in full-stack development
- Strong backend engineering skills with proficiency in at least one modern backend framework (Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or similar)
- Solid data engineering foundation with experience building data pipelines, ETL processes, or data warehousing solutions
- Proven experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
- Proficiency in frontend technologies (React, Vue, Angular, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, system architecture, and scalability principles
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Clear communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with data technologies such as Apache Spark, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools
- Knowledge of machine learning pipelines or AI/ML integration in applications
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Contributions to open-source projects or technical blog writing
- Certifications in cloud platforms or relevant technologies
- Experience mentoring junior developers or leading technical teams
