Role Overview

We're seeking a Senior Engineer with strong test automation expertise to join our Engineering team at CODVO.AI. In this role, you'll design and build robust test automation frameworks using .NET technologies, ensuring quality is embedded throughout our development lifecycle. You'll work collaboratively with developers and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in code quality, reliability, and observability across our distributed cloud environments.


What You'll Do

  • Design and develop scalable test automation frameworks using C# and .NET/.NET Core technologies, building solutions from the ground up
  • Write clean, maintainable code following OOP principles and design patterns, ensuring your automation solutions are production-grade
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies including unit, integration, API, and end-to-end tests across microservices architectures
  • Build and maintain CI/CD automation pipelines using Azure DevOps, integrating tests seamlessly into deployment workflows
  • Perform API and microservices testing in distributed cloud environments, validating functionality and performance across complex systems
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify root causes of defects, drive fixes, and improve overall code quality and system reliability
  • Implement monitoring and debugging solutions in cloud environments, ensuring visibility into test execution and application behavior
  • Contribute to quality engineering practices by establishing standards, mentoring peers, and continuously improving testing methodologies

What We're Looking For

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of professional software development or test automation experience
  • Strong programming proficiency in C# and .NET/.NET Core
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns
  • Proven experience building test automation frameworks from scratch
  • Hands-on expertise with UI automation tools: Selenium, Playwright (C#), or Cypress
  • Experience with API testing tools: RestSharp, Postman, or similar
  • Proficiency with unit testing frameworks: xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
  • Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, specifically Azure DevOps
  • Proficiency with Git and code review best practices
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Experience testing cloud-deployed applications with monitoring and logging capabilities

Nice to Have

  • Experience with advanced testing frameworks and patterns (BDD, TDD)
  • Familiarity with performance and load testing tools
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices
  • Experience with GraphQL API testing
  • Contributions to open-source testing projects
  • Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) or quality assurance
