Senior QA Engineer – Functional System Testing & Contact Center Domain Company: CODVO.AI Department: Engineering Location: Pune, India (Work From Office) Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Senior (7+ Years) Shift Timing: 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM IST | 5 days/week

Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with 7+ years of experience to lead comprehensive functional, system, and end-to-end testing for our cloud-based contact center SaaS platform. In this role, you will design and execute advanced test strategies that validate complex omnichannel workflows, multi-system integrations, and enterprise-scale customer journeys. Your investigative mindset, critical thinking, and deep domain expertise will be instrumental in uncovering hidden defects and ensuring the delivery of stable, customer-centric releases.

What You'll Do Design and execute comprehensive functional, system, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios for complex contact center workflows, including voice, chat, email, routing, reporting, and agent desktop functionalities Lead exploratory testing initiatives using heuristic-driven and mind-map-driven approaches to identify intermittent issues, concurrency defects, resiliency gaps, and workflow integration failures across distributed enterprise systems Validate omnichannel customer journeys by testing real-world scenarios across multiple communication channels, user roles, configurations, and data variations to ensure seamless end-to-end experiences Perform deep integration testing across APIs, microservices, databases, event streams, and third-party systems; validate backend processing, data consistency, and transaction integrity using SQL/NoSQL analysis and log examination Drive risk-based quality initiatives by identifying high-impact business failure points, unusual user behaviors, negative scenarios, and edge cases that could impact production stability Create high-quality defect reports with strong root-cause analysis, reproducibility steps, business impact assessment, and troubleshooting details to enable rapid resolution Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Development, DevOps, and Architecture teams to clarify requirements, participate in release readiness reviews, and drive continuous quality improvements Execute regression, impact analysis, and sanity testing for releases, patches, and hotfixes in fast-paced Agile environments with multiple parallel testing activities What We're Looking For Required Experience & Skills:
