Role Overview Senior engineer who owns quality end-to-end for the CAH migration — both the validation/parity method (proving Iguazio-vs-OpenShift output equivalence) and the automation/regression framework that makes it repeatable. This is the accountable QA lead for gate evidence and the direct answer to prior QA escalations: a single strong owner, not more hands.
Key Responsibilities Own and execute the full validation method: runtime SDK, CAH deployer-adapter integration, analytic-output comparison, performance, scale, tenant isolation, failure recovery, migration, security and operational readiness. Design and build the automation / regression framework and the record / replay output-comparison harness (classification-then-numeric, configurable tolerances), integrated into CI/CD (GitOps) and run in OpenShift. Validate tenant migration waves — data export/import integrity, model & artifact history, run-status migration, cutover continuity and 48-hour rollback sync. Produce and present Gate C/D/E evidence; run defect governance with engineering; certify readiness to retire Iguazio. Define the QA strategy and standards; mentor and direct the Test Automation Engineer once added. Must-Have Skills Validation & migration/parity testing at enterprise scale; regression baselining; cutover/rollback. Automation ownership: Python (pytest) primary; framework design patterns; API/service test automation. Platform: OpenShift / Kubernetes, containers (Podman/Docker), RHEL/Linux. Data & messaging: SQL/PostgreSQL, S3, Kafka; data-integrity/checksum validation. CI/CD & GitOps (Tekton / OpenShift Pipelines, Jenkins/GitLab), Git; MLOps awareness (KFP v2, Model Registry); security-scan/image-policy (OWASP). Strong gate-evidence documentation; able to lead and mentor. Nice to Have Iguazio exposure (MLRun/Nuclio/V3IO); numerical-computing sensitivity (NumPy/BLAS, AVX-512); disconnected/air-gapped install validation.
