Senior Power App Developer

Key Responsibilities Develop, modify, and maintain VBA scripts to implement or enhance functionality within Microsoft Word templates. Create new legal and contract templates based on business requirements. Review and correct formatting issues in Word templates, boilerplates, and content controls. Manage and maintain content control dropdown lists, forms, and document automation features. Ensure adherence to formatting standards, including paragraph justification, spacing, styles, and pagination requirements. Conduct thorough unit testing and validation of templates before release. Publish tested and approved versions of templates that comply with Legal's formatting and functionality requirements. Maintain project documentation and update the project Kanban board regularly. Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities. Follow coding standards, maintain code comments, and ensure consistency across all VBA solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve template functionality and automation issues. Required Skills Strong experience with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) development. Expertise in Microsoft Word Template Development and Document Automation. Experience working with Word Content Controls, Forms, and Macros. Strong understanding of document formatting, styles, and template management. Experience with testing, debugging, and troubleshooting VBA solutions. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Preferred Skills Experience supporting Legal, Compliance, or Contract Management teams. Familiarity with Agile/Kanban project methodologies. Experience in document generation and workflow automation. Key Deliverables Develop new Word contract templates as requested by the Legal team. Enhance and maintain existing VBA-enabled templates. Deliver fully tested template releases that meet business, formatting, and functionality requirements. Resolve template-related defects and automation issues. Maintain technical documentation and project status updates.
