Sr. AI Engineer/TL Primary Objective
Lead the design, development, and continuous enhancement of the Picarro AI Assistant for the CRDS Gas Concentration Analyzer by leveraging Generative AI, LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and domain-specific knowledge systems to deliver accurate, contextual, and reliable user interactions.
Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance AI-powered chatbot capabilities for the CRDS Gas Concentration Analyzer. Architect and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using technical documentation, product manuals, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge repositories. Engineer, optimize, and evaluate prompts to improve response accuracy, relevance, and user experience. Develop knowledge-grounding strategies to ensure responses are based on validated product information. Configure and optimize embeddings, vector databases, retrieval mechanisms, and AI guardrails. Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) with enterprise applications, APIs, and data sources. Design and implement conversational workflows, task-oriented interactions, and guided troubleshooting experiences. Evaluate model performance and establish metrics for accuracy, relevance, citation quality, and user satisfaction. Analyze chatbot interactions and identify opportunities for improving response quality and coverage. Collaborate with subject matter experts to curate domain knowledge and validate AI-generated responses. Lead technical design reviews and define best practices for AI solution architecture. Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, evaluation reports, and implementation guidelines.
