Role Overview Automation-first engineer who executes and scales the regression / retest suites under the framework and method defined by the Senior QE — extending coverage across analytic families and keeping continuous retest fast and reliable.
Key Responsibilities Extend and maintain the automated regression/retest suites (runtime, adapter integration, analytic-output comparison, performance, scale, tenant isolation, failure recovery). Grow the record/replay output-comparison automation across analytic families; keep suites reliable and low-flake. Integrate and run suites in CI/CD (GitOps) / OpenShift pipelines for continuous retest per release. Automate API/service, Kafka message-queue and PostgreSQL data-validation tests; manage test data (JSON/Parquet) and reporting. Support Gate C/D evidence generation; collaborate with MLOps/analytics engineers. Must-Have Skills Test automation: strong Python (pytest/requests) primary; framework design patterns. CI/CD: Jenkins / GitLab / Tekton / OpenShift Pipelines; GitOps; Git. Containerized execution: Docker / Podman, OpenShift / Kubernetes. Data & messaging: data-driven testing; Kafka; SQL/PostgreSQL (JDBC); JSON/Parquet. Performance-test integration (JMeter); Agile & continuous testing. Nice to Have BDD (behave/Cucumber); reporting (Allure/ExtentReports); ML-pipeline (KFP v2) exposure; security-scan integration.
